Job description

Overall Scope

RF Monitor (Wave Coordinator) is responsible for the tactical execution of order/wave completion.

This position coordinates orders and ensures the orders/waves are closed out in a timely manner in order to meet the customer ship by due date.   This role will use WMS and dashboards as the primary tools to accomplish their duties. This role will work closely with management to accomplish the duties and responsibilities listed below.

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
  • Minimum 3 months to 1-year related experience and/or training
  • AS400 and or WMS experience is preferred
  • Experience with warehouse equipment (RF Scanners, Voice Pick systems)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Basic Access experience with proven ability to query data
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to apply basic calculations as related to quantities of product picked
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • Self-motivated individual willing and able to take initiative as well as work in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, including understanding the English language, written and verbal

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide order fulfillment support utilizing WMS and Dashboards (JDE-Dematic) to troubleshoot technical issues that halt the order processing. 
  • Make sound tactical decisions when it is time to close orders due to customer ship date and direct the actions required to close orders
  • Utilize WMS (Dematic) to ensure certain categories of picks are prioritized based on provided guidance
  • Correctly identify locations, part numbers, and quantities of parts/orders to remove bottlenecks in the order fulfilment process
  • As needed, trouble shoot CR Tags (unique carton identifier), pallet position status, emergency order closure, and UPS/Fed Ex shipping issues
  • Responsible for adhering to all safety policies and protocols, and completing tasks in a manner that promotes safety
  • Responsible for complying with all Standard Operating Procedures, company policies, and OSHA standards
  • Other duties as required and assigned
  • Use Voice-directed picking or RF Scanning Unit as needed
  • Scan and accurately pack items into totes and boxes for shipment
Ergonomic Focus and Additional Qualifications
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Physical demands include: use of hands/fingers, ability to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reaching with hands and arms; continuous standing, walking, and pushing; occasional bending/stooping; talking and hearing.
  • Working conditions are normal for a logistic/distribution center/warehouse including exposure to hot, cold, and dust.
  • Ability to use technology, including printers, telephones, scanners, RF device, laptop, computer, crash cart.
  • Specific vision requirements include close vision and distance vision.
