Job description

Distribution Coordinator

Reports To: Branch Manager or Designee

Location: West Seneca, NY

Job Summary:

The Distribution Coordinator is the backbone of Warehouse, following products through the entire process from receiving, to stocking, to shipping. Compiles, records and prepares reports on various warehouse activities, coordinates ordering merchandise, and assists in the overall management of the warehouse operations. Administers and operates the organizations warehouse, including efficient shipping, receiving, processing, packaging, storing and ordering of supplies.

Primary Responsibilities

Print and assign pick tickets to the team daily

Monitor and respond to emails

Schedule and process/plan assembly orders

Transfer orders for parts coming through the DC via geographic fulfillment

Monitor, troubleshoot, and prioritize past due orders

Process group orders

Schedule/plan/monitor assembly orders

Follow up on late transfer/purchase orders

Check status of Past Due orders and expedite inventory where possible

Run metrics and reporting

Track missed shipments

Meet various timelines

Abides by all established organizational policies, rules, and regulations.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience:

Experience with Epicor desired but not required

Minimum 1 - 3 years experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting

Working knowledge and proficiency using a computer and related Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently

Team player

Skills/Requirements

Ability to lead, problem solve, meet team goals

Well organized and detail oriented

Able to work under pressure without becoming flustered

Multi-task efficiently

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
