St. Mary's Cement Inc. is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Distribution Coordinator to play a vital role in our supply chain operations. This position is the central hub between customers, trucking partners, terminals, and plant operations-ensuring that every shipment is accurate, on time, and delivered with excellence.

What You'll Do
As a Distribution Coordinator, you will ensure smooth, efficient movement of cement products from our plant to customers and terminals by:
• Coordinating daily shipments of bagged and bulk product to customers and terminals
• Serving as a primary point of contact for customer orders via phone and email
• Dispatching drivers and managing order data within the SAP loading system
• Assigning trucks to appropriate scales and loading locations
• Creating, voiding, rebilling, receiving, and reconciling Bills of Lading in SAP
• Monitoring silo and inventory levels and coordinating with operations and loaders
• Managing off-site bag inventory and arranging replenishment shipments
• Preparing customs documentation for U.S. and Canadian shipments
• Investigating quality concerns and collaborating with internal departments to resolve issues
• Coordinating daily and weekly product availability across plants and terminals
• Retrieving shipment records and processing return credits when required
• Providing backup support for other Distribution Coordinators
• Creating analytical reports and operational insights for leadership
• Identifying and implementing process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy
• Delivering best-in-class customer service at every touchpoint
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, highly organized, and able to balance customer needs with operational priorities.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate degree or technical degree considered
• One year of related experience in logistics, supply chain, customer service, or dispatching preferred
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
Skills & Competencies
• Strong communication skills with customers, drivers, and internal teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
• Knowledge of production, inventory, and logistics operations
• Truck and carrier dispatching experience a plus
Technical Skills
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Comfort with data entry, inventory software, and internet-based systems
