Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of repairs on manufacturing tools, equipment, machinery, and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation-related issues
  • Support production equipment uptime through preventative and corrective maintenance
  • Diagnose and repair assembly automation systems and manufacturing production tools
  • Troubleshoot electrical controls, motor controls, drives, VFD drives, relays, contactors, sensors and related systems
  • Perform light fabrication and MIG welding as needed
  • Follow Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) procedures and maintain a safe working environment
  • Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and continuous improvement projects
  • Maintain maintenance records such as work orders and preventive maintenance and communicate repair status effectively


Qualifications:

  • 2 year degreed candidates required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with solid electrical troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with: Equipment repair, Assembly automation repair, Electrical and pneumatic systems repair, Light fabrication and MIG welding, Manufacturing production tool repair, Electrical controls troubleshooting, Motor controls and drives including VFDs and servo systems
  • Knowledge of Lock-out/Tag-out procedures and basic industrial safety practices
  • Ability to understand electrical schematics
