Summary:

We’re looking for a Distribution Specialist to help keep production running smoothly! As a Distribution Specialist, you’ll coordinate the packaging of materials, verify shipments, and assist with the distribution of products in a fast-paced environment. Distribution Specialists play a critical role in ensuring our finished products are processed for shipping correctly and shipped on time to meet production and shipping schedules.  Quality inspections to ensure the correct items and quantity are shipping is essential.  If you’re organized, detail-focused, and enjoy a fast-paced environment, this job is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Locate, prepare and expedite in-process materials for production and distribution. 

• Manage internal and external shipping and distribution software to maintain delivery schedules. 

• Coordinate planned material receipts through proper channels to ensure timely delivery. 

• Verify and maintain records like job shortages, planned receipts, and dispatch logs. 

• Communicate material status updates to internal and external teams. 

• Operate machinery, including binding, finishing, and packaging equipment. 

• Use forklift and hand truck to move materials, paper-products and finished goods. 

• Ensure quality control and accurate distribution totals using scales or manual verification. 

• Load trucks for outgoing shipment, using hoists, handtrucks or pallet jacks as required. 

• Keep production running smoothly with occasional team tasks or auxiliary assignments. 

Qualifications:

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalency. 

• Successfully achieve hoist operation certification within 30 days. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting. 

• 6 months of experience with hoist operation. 

• Previous experience with Microsoft Office products.
