Job description

The warehouse returns specialist is responsible for various material handling activities at the warehouse which may include: unloading trucks, loading trucks, processing returns, stocking merchandise, moving merchandise, inventory counts and preparing totes and merchandise for outbound freight. This position is also responsible for maintaining warehouse appearance, security, safety and daily operational standards as set by warehouse management.

Job Duties:

Material Handling

A warehouse returns specialist scans or manually checks in all incoming returned product from stores and vendors and ensures paperwork is in order to be forwarded to the warranty specialist for processing. A warehouse returns specialist is also responsible for shrink wrapping all cores/warranties and placing them in the holding area for pick-up. A warehouse returns specialist re-boxes items as needed and directed, recording re-boxing information and forwarding to the Warranty Specialist on a weekly basis.

Be part of the team

A warehouse returns specialist is part of the warehouse and APH team and, therefore, assists other team members as needed. A warehouse returns specialist straightens shelves, sweeps, re-boxes returns, completes tote placements and services other areas of the warehouse as appropriate and assists in other ways as assigned by the warehouse supervisor.
