Job description

Purpose

The Distribution Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient daily flow of shipping operations and inventory management. This position is responsible for coordinating distribution activities, supporting shipping processes, and maintaining inventory levels to ensure our customers receive the products they need, when they need them.

Responsibilities

  • Drive daily flow of work for shipping and inventory customer needs.
  • Responsible for daily product shipments.
  • All inventory related work such as incoming product inspection, product returns, preparing boxes.
  • Stocking up shelves with product and product related supplies.
  • Inventory Management & Reporting.
  • Daily shipping out of Zoho Inventory.
  • Receiving and inspection of incoming inventory.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of products.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure that we do not run out of critical products.
  • Coordinate with customers to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Work with production teams to identify product needs and ensure that products are available when needed.
  • Receive and inspect incoming products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory audits.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that products are distributed to the correct locations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for product storage, handling, and tracking.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 1271, FDA 21 CFR 820, AATB standards, ISO Standards, cGMP/CGTP, other relevant regulations/standards, and internal organizational policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality for scheduled work hours and meetings. Ensure completion of assigned tasks and responsibilities within defined timeframes.
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours during weekdays or weekends with reasonable advance notice to support business/operational needs when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
