How you'll support our operations:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient individual to join our team as a Distribution Coordinator. The Distribution Coordinator will be responsible for preparing all BOL's and Packing Slips, communicating with drivers, and overseeing the loading of outgoing shipments. This includes 3rd-party products for distribution to partner locations as well as grocery orders to our distribution centers. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work quickly and deliberately, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and quality.

What you'll be doing:
  • Create routes based on DOT weight regulations, and space utilization, ensuring proper placement to prevent damage during transit.
  • Responsible for the execution of the loadout plan and/or directing loadout associate(s), as applicable
  • Load grocery products onto delivery trucks according to loading schedules and delivery routes, maximizing space utilization and ensuring proper placement to prevent damage during transit.
  • Secure load as well as unload return items from trailer
  • Clean and organize materials for production such as pallets, corners and RPC's
  • Organize and process recyclable materials gel packs, silver liners, and egg carton wraps
  • Effectively communicate with all co-workers while still embodying our Core values.
  • Forklift Certified, stand up, cherry picker and raider jack
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations to include wheel chocks and trailer stand
  • Conduct visual inspections of products and packaging to ensure compliance with company standards for freshness, quality, and presentation, and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines for loading and handling of products, including proper lifting techniques, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of outgoing shipments, including item quantities, delivery dates, and any special handling instructions, and communicate information to warehouse supervisors as needed.
  • Create and revise shipment documents to update all team members and shipping partners.
  • Insure all loads are DOT compliant

  • Proficient in fundamental computer applications (including email, Slack, and spreadsheets).
  • Experience or comfort with working in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions.
  • Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs
