The purpose of the Distribution Coordinator is to coordinate completion of daily activities in area of receiving, shipping, returns and put away of materials into the warehouse and inventory and aid in the scheduling and passing of manifests, reports and exceptions to the client and internal stakeholders and management.

Fulltime onsite role based out of Lakewood, NJ. Must be available to work Monday-Friday 9:30am ET-6:00pm ET.


  • Individual is expected to keep up to date with all job related and company SOPโ€™s and work instructions related to receiving, shipping and returns.
  • Inspect freight upon arrival, document any signs of damage, and resolve freight claims in a timely manner.
  • Individual is expected to complete daily work assignments and as necessary for all work scheduled for department within established SLA.
  • Provide training of current and new employees in all appropriate procedures and processes required to complete work assignments.
  • Assist with the enforcement of quality standards and procedures including record keeping, work instructions, SOPโ€™s, and other standard operational and work practices as necessary.ย 
  • Scheduling Outbound shipments, maintaining shipping records, communicating with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders regarding all outbound activities.
  • Reading work tickets and coordinating vendor appointments.
  • Maintaining supplies including vendor labels.
  • Individual must keep management aware of any concern or potential issue surrounding meeting SLAโ€™s or quality concerns.
  • Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to safely move parts to proper locations and load and unload trucks as necessary.
  • Count inventory according to established guidelines and assist with developing actions to correct inventory problems.
  • Review and investigate incoming returns per client work instructions.
  • Effectively communicate exceptions to proper team and receive, assign, locate and record inventory as required.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.
  • Continue to grow lean knowledge and use the tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Remain flexible in assignments and schedule

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Training: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Business Experience: 2 years in manufacturing and production or past experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Ability to apply detailed and common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Advanced computer skills including the use of a mouse and typing skills

Strong knowledge of e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet applications

Advanced Writing and communication skills for interacting with company personnel and Vendors

The expected base pay range for this position is $19-24/hourly. The actual compensation for the position may vary based on market differences and on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and can vary based on location and/or work schedule. In addition to base pay, CareTria offers a comprehensive benefits package.
