LOCATION: Sarasota FL

JOB SUMMARY/ JOB DUTIES:
Directs and coordinates activities of distribution facilities. Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory. Coordinates activities of distribution facilities with activities of sales, record control, and purchasing departments to ensure availability of merchandise. Communicates daily with cross-functional teams (i.e. outside carriers, plants, sales, finance, etc). This position operates within a Tier 1 or Tier 3 Depot, a Tier 2 Depot featuring multiple Coordinators, or a hub equipped with an additional leader for the majority of the shift.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Reviews bills of lading for incoming merchandise and customer orders in order to plan work activities
Assigns workers to specific duties, such as verifying amounts of and storing incoming merchandise and assembling customer orders for delivery.
Loads and unload trucks of various product as needed
Pick and sort various product as needed
Bakery operations to include auditing, break-down load shipments, distribute and bill product to IDPs, and issue stale credit in accordance with policy
Maintains facility which includes cleaning and following safety and food safety processes.
Responsible for reporting safety, food safety, and site security incidents and improvement recommendations to Leader. May execute changes for safety, food safety, and site security items.
Communicates in a professional manner
Reports to Leader any employee issues violating company policies and/or processes
Must interact with Customer Service/Planning, Sales and Transportation to coordinate any cuts, adjustments, credits and other issues on a daily basis.
Prints out orders for Bin Routes on a daily basis
Crosscheck/verify accuracy of orders
Directs reclamation of damaged merchandise
Assist in the tracking and reporting productivity for others
Prepares and maintains spreadsheets and data bases as necessary
May fill in for site Leader, Coordinator or Sr. Coordinator as needed
Maintains accurate & timely records for timekeeping, expenses, inventory, food safety and safety.
May perform other duties as required


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED equivalent; and 1 year of related experience in a warehouse or Depot
