JOB TITLE: Tool Coordinator
LOCATION: San Antonio, TX
PAY RATE: $27.22/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Processes and moves production materials into and out of storage, production, and other locations to support production flow following standard work instructions.

  • Monitors work in process for production materials and components.

  • Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to ensure parts availability.

  • Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes.

  • Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite, and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.

  • Uses CribMaster for tool inventory management and tracking.

  • Uses Andon for production status and issue notification.

  • Uses BESSY for inventory control and materials management.

  • Applies lean manufacturing principles to materials management and logistics.

  • Supports supply chain, inventory control, and manufacturing operations for tooling and materials.

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • 1+ years of experience with Production Control or Materials Management.

  • Physical ability to stand for duration of a shift.

  • Ability to lift, carry, move, and manipulate a large volume and variety of parts.

  • 1+ years of experience with warehouse or logistics operations.

  • 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Applications.

  • Preferred: 1+ years of Tool Control experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment.

  • Preferred: Experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Manufacturing, or Quality.

  • Preferred: Experience working in CribMaster, Andon, and BESSY systems.

  • Preferred: Experience using lean manufacturing principles.
