Job description

Mako Industries is hiring a reliablePlumbing Dispatcher/ Administrative Assistant for our Plumbing Division to act as a communication point between our company and our customers. You will receive requests, transmit messages, and track vehicles to ensure that everything runs smoothly by coordinating with customers, providing precise logistics for technicians to follow along on their routes, and coordinating service times.

  • Scheduling and dispatching Plumbing Technicians, vehicles, or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs.
  • Use of telephones, text messages or emails to contact employees for dispatch purposes
  • Speak with supervisors or customers to resolve problems and requests for services and equipment.
  • Preparing work orders for crew or receiving work orders from dispatch software or crew members.
  • Creating quotes/estimates for customers
  • Main point of contact between the customer, employee, and company.
  • Maintain all work requests customer requests, completed work requests, changes for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records and other information.
  • On-Call "After hours" dispatching.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with others under any type of condition.
  • Excellent clerical and organizational skills to keep track of schedules, routes, and personnel.
  • Knowledge of computers, smart phones and tablets for scheduling and other dispatching duties.
  • Knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office, i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook,or field service platforms used for Commercial Dispatching
  • Ability to multitask in fast paced environment with sometimes conflicting events happening at once.
