REPORTS TO: Vice President, Design Partnerships

Are you inspired and full of ideas? Passionate about design, placemaking, and the power of community? An experienced creative project manager eager to be hands-on with events, activations, and partnerships? Do you have a keen interest in shaping some of Boston's most distinctive mixed-use, office, and design-focused destinations?

We're hiring a Creative & Marketing Manager to support the Innovation and Design Building, Boston Design Center, Constitution Wharf, and 501 Boylston Street. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, hands-on creative with experience across marketing, events, social media, partnerships, and project management, and a strong appreciation for Boston's design, real estate, and cultural communities.

Your mission? To create, oversee, and execute strategic marketing initiatives that elevate each asset's brand, support leasing efforts, drive tenant engagement, and advance placemaking objectives. From curating events and partnerships to crafting campaigns and leading tours, your work will directly contribute to asset performance, community impact, and Jamestown's leadership in design-driven real estate. Your creativity will be put into action daily, with tangible results and meaningful influence.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSMarketing and Events:
  • Execute all Creative & Marketing department programs and initiatives at the property level.
  • Serve as liaison between the Jamestown Creative & Marketing department and Asset Management, Property Management, Construction Management, Leasing, and development teams.
  • Develop and assist in executing annual marketing plans and budgets in collaboration with the Vice President.
  • Draft initial marketing plans and budgets for approval and track performance against projections.
  • Perform monthly forecasting and analyze ROI/KPI to maximize marketing dollars spent.
  • Develop and execute advertising plans, coordinate placements, and provide creative direction.
  • Create, manage, and grow social media and email marketing channels, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and newsletter platforms.
  • Concept, plan, and execute property events that support leasing, tenant engagement, community activation, and brand awareness.
  • Promote and support tenant-driven programming and strategic partnerships.
  • Assist in building and maintaining relationships within Boston's design, architecture, real estate, retail, hospitality, and cultural communities.
  • Support industry partnerships and programming initiatives tied to the Jamestown Design Practice.


  • Manage tourism and visitor engagement programs, including local, regional, and national initiatives.
  • Coordinate and execute all digital and print collateral, including copywriting and basic wireframing.
  • Manage third-party vendors, including PR, graphic design, photography, and marketing partners.
  • Uphold corporate creative standards for visual merchandising, signage, wayfinding, and advertising programs.
  • Develop and manage property tour experiences, including logistics, materials, and execution.
  • Support leasing teams through the creation of presentations, collateral, prospect engagement initiatives, and experiential programming.
SOCIAL MEDIA AND CONTENT:
  • Create content, post, and manage social media channels with a focus on audience growth and engagement.
  • Capture and edit photo and video content for real-time and scheduled posting.
  • Track and analyze social, email, and marketing metrics and report performance regularly.
ADMINISTRATION:
  • Special projects and research as required; topics may include placemaking strategies, design trends, event programming, leasing support, community engagement initiatives, and industry partnerships.
QUALIFICATIONS:Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing, activations, social media, event management, placemaking, and creative project management; or any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
Knowledge of:
  • Marketing, including traditional and digital strategies, PR, and social media.
  • Retail, office, hospitality, mixed-use, and commercial real estate environments.
  • Placemaking principles, including community engagement, aesthetics, experiential design, and destination marketing.
  • Property operations, leasing, and development processes.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Hands-on content creator with the ability to concept, execute, and manage campaigns end-to-end.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive, self-starting mindset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting to internal and external audiences.


  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, tenants, brokers, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Instagram, WordPress back-end, LinkedIn, and Google Workspace.
  • Experience with photography and video capture/editing for social media.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
BONUS SKILLS:
  • Familiarity with project management platforms (Wrike or similar).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of Boston's design, architecture, hospitality, and cultural communities.
