ABOUT CHARITY FOR CHANGE

Charity for Change provides a proprietary curriculum in elementary afterschool and summer settings. The curriculum blends activities that teach character, generosity and gratitude with an online academic platform. Its activities support students' mental well-being and help set them on a trajectory for success in school, relationships, future careers and life.

ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW

Charity for Change is seeking a Creative Marketing and Communications Manager to serve as the organization's in-house brand and creative lead. This is a hands-on position for an accomplished multidisciplinary professional who can think strategically and personally write, design and produce compelling work across print, digital, social media, web, email, presentations and video. The Manager will thoughtfully expand the Charity for Change brand while working in partnership with external marketing firms, web partners and other vendors. This individual will establish brand and creative direction, translate organizational priorities into effective campaigns and leverage external expertise and capacity for larger-scale or specialized initiatives. The position will create distinct, targeted communications for community members, donors, families, educators adopting the program in Florida and providers purchasing the program outside Florida. These audience strategies may operate independently or come together through integrated campaigns. The successful candidate will help build the scalable creative foundation needed to support Charity for Change's long-term growth and broader recognition.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead marketing strategy, audience research, planning and campaign development in alignment with Charity for Change's mission, organizational priorities and growth objectives.
  • Lead and coordinate Charity for Change’s relationships with external marketing firms, web partners and other vendors. Work in partnership with these external teams to shape the organization’s broader marketing vision, develop integrated campaigns for broad and segmented audiences, and execute major creative projects and media initiatives.
  • Translate organizational priorities into clear strategies and creative briefs, provide decisive direction and feedback, coordinate external creative work and media partnerships with in-house efforts, and manage priorities, timelines, budgets, deliverables, performance and brand alignment.
  • Serve as the internal steward of the Charity for Change brand, leading the thoughtful evolution of its visual identity, voice, messaging, creative standards, guidelines and templates.
  • Personally conceptualize, write, design, edit and produce high-quality content, from rapid-turnaround needs to core campaign assets, across print, digital, social media, web, email, presentations and video.
  • Write persuasive, emotionally compelling and brand-consistent copy, adapting the message and creative approach for donors, community members, educators, families and program providers.
  • Design graphics, layouts, website content, landing pages and digital experiences using strong principles of responsive design, user experience, accessibility and conversion.
  • Produce and edit professional video content and visual storytelling tailored to children, families, educators, community members, donors and program providers.
  • Lead digital and social media strategy, including social campaigns, email marketing and online fundraising; manage and grow Charity for Change's social media presence; and use performance data to strengthen future efforts.
  • Partner with Resource Development, Sales and Program teams to create donor communications, appeals, sponsorship materials, event promotions, impact stories, presentations, sales materials and campaigns supporting program adoption and expansion.
  • Support public relations and community engagement, maintain organized brand assets and ensure creative materials follow organizational requirements for copyright, licensing, releases, participant privacy, accessibility and appropriate asset use.
  • Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
QUALIFCATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, public relations, journalism or a related field preferred, but not required.
  • At least five years of experience in creative marketing, brand communications, graphic design or a related multidisciplinary role.
  • A strong professional portfolio demonstrating graphic design, copywriting, brand development, digital campaigns, video production and web-based creative work. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro. Experience with After Effects, Lightroom and other Creative Cloud applications is a plus.
  • Ability to use Canva efficiently to produce professional, brand-consistent content.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to maintain a unified brand voice while communicating effectively with different audiences.
  • Knowledge of web design, responsive layouts, user experience and content management systems.
  • Proven experience developing campaigns across multiple channels and providing strategic and creative direction to external firms and vendors.
  • Strong strategic thinking, project management, relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using CRM platforms to support audience segmentation, campaign execution and reporting
  • A practical understanding of the responsible use of AI in design, content creation, audience engagement and nonprofit marketing.
  • Experience in nonprofit communications, education marketing or marketing to service providers is a plus.
