Creative Director

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Creative Director to lead the development of high-impact, integrated marketing campaigns for a well-established organization. This role is ideal for a strategic creative leader who excels at transforming business goals into compelling creative concepts while collaborating with senior executives and cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will bring a strong portfolio, exceptional presentation skills, and a proven ability to guide creative strategy from concept through execution across multiple marketing channels.

This is an onsite position based in Memphis, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative vision and strategic direction for integrated marketing, brand, and campaign initiatives.
  • Translate business objectives, audience insights, and marketing goals into compelling creative concepts and campaign strategies.
  • Provide creative leadership throughout the entire campaign lifecycle, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with brand standards.
  • Develop and refine campaign concepts that span digital, social media, video, print, experiential marketing, and other communication channels.
  • Review creative work and provide strategic feedback to improve messaging, visual execution, audience engagement, and overall effectiveness.
  • Identify creative risks, gaps, and opportunities before stakeholder reviews and final approvals.
  • Partner with internal teams, external agencies, creative professionals, production partners, and subject matter experts to deliver successful campaigns.
  • Facilitate brainstorming sessions and creative workshops that encourage innovation and collaboration.
  • Present creative concepts, strategic recommendations, and campaign rationale to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Provide creative guidance throughout production to ensure final deliverables remain aligned with approved concepts and strategic objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of creative briefs, campaign presentations, brand recommendations, and creative performance assessments.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in a Creative Director or senior creative leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale, integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative leadership, brand strategy, integrated campaigns, and cross-channel marketing initiatives.
  • Experience developing creative strategies that align business objectives with audience insights.
  • Proven ability to present and defend creative recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including designers, copywriters, marketing professionals, agencies, and production partners.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong understanding of brand development, creative strategy, campaign planning, and creative execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading enterprise-level or large organizational marketing initiatives.
  • Background working with complex stakeholder groups and executive leadership teams.
  • Experience guiding creative work across a wide range of marketing channels and campaign formats.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on creative leadership in a fast-paced environment.
