American International Forest Products (AIFP) & Affiliated Resources (AR)
About the Role
AIFP and Affiliated Resources are seeking an organized, creative, and relationship-driven Recruiting & Marketing Coordinator to support recruiting, marketing, company events, university relations, and community partnerships.
This role works closely with employees and leadership across the organization and is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, building relationships, managing multiple projects, and taking ideas from concept through execution.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Onboarding

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruiting across sales, operations, accounting, compliance, and other business functions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, recruiting strategies, and candidate profiles.
  • Post positions, source candidates, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate the interview and selection process.
  • Maintain candidate communication and provide a professional, positive candidate experience.
  • Coordinate offers, pre-employment requirements, and new-hire onboarding.
  • Maintain recruiting resources, interview guides, scorecards, and candidate records.
  • Support continued improvements to recruiting and onboarding processes.
Internship & University Relations
  • Coordinate the summer internship program, including recruiting, onboarding, department rotations, projects, events, and presentations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, career centers, professors, and student organizations.
  • Coordinate career fairs, classroom presentations, company visits, and other university recruiting initiatives.
  • Support efforts to build and maintain a strong early-career talent pipeline.
Marketing, Branding & Social Media
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives supporting AIFP and AR's brand, business objectives, and company culture.
  • Manage company social media channels and create content highlighting employees, events, internships, community involvement, and company news.
  • Maintain brand consistency across digital and printed materials.
  • Support website content, advertisements, promotional materials, branded merchandise, and other marketing projects.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to execute marketing initiatives.
Events & Community Partnerships
  • Plan and coordinate company meetings, employee events, celebrations, recruiting events, and other special events.
  • Manage event logistics including venues, vendors, catering, communications, materials, and day-of coordination.
  • Coordinate relationships with nonprofit organizations, community partners, universities, and other external organizations.
  • Support company sponsorships, charitable giving, fundraising campaigns, and volunteer initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen AIFP and AR's presence within the community.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate company photography, promotional materials, and branded items as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and company initiatives across departments.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership and employees to support evolving business needs.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting, marketing, communications, HR, event coordination, or a related role preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, project management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects simultaneously.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for branding, content, and presentation.
  • Comfortable taking ownership, working independently, and collaborating across departments.
  • Experience with social media, applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Canva/Adobe, or similar platforms is a plus.
