Job description

Position Summary:
The Social Media & Creative Coordinator is responsible for developing and managing Continental Marketing’s social media programs, coordinating the content pipeline across newsletters and articles, producing AI-assisted creative assets for client and internal teams, and maintaining the company website. This role works cross-functionally to support CMI’s Costco, E-commerce, and Brick & Mortar teams and oversees an offshore social support team. The position is based full-time in CMI’s Tualatin, Oregon office.

Success in this role comes down to communication, initiative, and follow-through. They bring a can-do attitude and a self-starter mindset, taking ownership of projects and looking for the next thing to tackle rather than waiting to be told. They are highly organized, able to juggle multiple content pipelines and deadlines without dropping details. Above all, they are fast and fluent with computers and AI tools, turning new technology into real output and building efficient workflows that let them produce more, faster. 

Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Program Development & Influencer Engagement:
  • Build and manage a catalog of social media programs that CMI’s manufacturer clients can opt into and participate in. Tik-Tok, Meta, primarily
  • Develop and execute influencer engagement and outreach initiatives that extend client and CMI brand reach.
  • Directly manage and post to CMI’s owned social channels, including the company's LinkedIn presence.
  • Track program performance and report on engagement, reach, and participation across channels.

Content Coordination & Pipeline Ownership:
  • Own the content pipeline for newsletters and articles, including commissioning, scheduling, editing and QA, and securing placement.
  • Manage and maintain CMI’s company blog, ensuring a consistent cadence of published content.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to source topics, gather inputs, and keep content moving on schedule.

AI-Assisted Creative Asset Generation:
  • Produce creative assets using AI-assisted tools and workflows to support the Costco, E-commerce, and Brick & Mortar teams.
  • Translate team and client briefs into on-brand imagery, graphics, and supporting creative.
  • Maintain quality, brand consistency, and turnaround standards across all generated assets.

Website Maintenance & Team Oversight
  • Maintain and update CMI’s website, keeping content current, accurate, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Oversee and direct an offshore social support team, assigning work, reviewing output, and ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
    Office Administration
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
  • Monitor office supply levels and place replenishment orders as needed to keep the office well stocked.

Performance Measurement
Performance in this role is evaluated against a semi-annual scorecard tied to the position’s core functional areas.
