Job Summary: Responsible for driving wallcovering sales/revenue in North America. Customer base is distributors in both the contract and residential segments. Close collaboration with the Versa Design/Marketing/Customer Service/Administrative teams is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for customer relationships, including executive, management and inside/ outside sales teams
  • Drive product placement and stocking programs
  • Sales pipeline development and follow-up
  • Lead educational effort with distribution partners both in-person and electronically
  • Collaboration with product development, marketing and R&D teams to provide market responsive feedback
  • Develop and monitor pricing strategies
  • Contribute to market segment alignment management
  • Sales forecasting
  • Approximately 50% travel required
Qualification Requirements:

  • BS in Marketing or Business Management, MBA in Marketing preferred
  • 10+ years of leading the sales, marketing and/or design functions in a commercial interiors’ environment
  • Experience in a manufacturing organization designing and marketing a product that is manufacturing friendly, possesses aesthetic appeal and salable qualities.
  • Experience leading a design team in a well-respected design organization. Strong production know-how, especially in the printing space
  • Strong leadership/management skills and experience in mentoring/nurturing creative teams
  • Highly collaborative and flexible
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to sell in ideas and gain support for initiatives
  • Proven ability to cultivate and build customer relationships and leverage for business development gains.
  • Proven ability to translate strategic goals into innovative creative
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills relative to marketing and advertising
