Creative & Brand Manager

Trade Show Savvy LLC

Grapevine, TX • On-site

$48 - $60/hr

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Retirement, PTO

Posted 26 days ago

Job description

We are growing. This is a single role with a single mission: own how Trade Show Savvy and Red Door Three show up in the world for clients on the show floor and for the market at large. It is equal parts client-facing creative strategist and in-house brand and marketing director. If you have ever wanted a role where your ideas shape real environments and real campaigns, this is it.

About Us

Trade Show Savvy is a Grapevine, TX-based company building the future of trade show exhibitor management. We combine a proprietary SaaS platform with full-service exhibit services and a national exhibit storage and logistics operation under our Red Door Three brand. We work with clients across industries to plan, design, manage, and execute their trade show programs end-to-end.

Following our recent acquisition of Red Door Three, we are expanding our Grapevine commercial team to support continued growth.

We are intentionally small. We will stay intentionally small. We are building the kind of company we want to work in flat, fast, and free of corporate theater. If that sounds like your kind of place, keep reading.

The Role

We are looking for a Creative & Brand Manager who can move fluidly between two worlds: the client room and the content calendar. On the client side, you are the ideas person the one who walks into a conversation, understands a brand's goals, and paints a picture of what their exhibit program could be. On the company side, you own our marketing brand voice, content strategy, campaigns, social presence, and the visual identity of everything we put into the world.

This is a senior, highly visible role that reports directly to the President. You will work closely with our operations team, our product team, and outside vendors to bring strategy to life. As a growing company, you will have the opportunity to build the marketing function the right way from the start.

Client-Facing Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary creative lead on client accounts the person clients call when they want a fresh perspective on their program
  • Develop exhibit concepts, spatial narratives, and program strategies tailored to each client's brand, audience, and show objectives
  • Lead discovery conversations with new and existing clients to surface needs and identify program opportunities
  • Produce compelling creative presentations, proposals, and RFP responses
  • Attend trade shows and client events as a brand representative and strategic advisor
  • Work within the TSS platform to document program plans, timelines, and client deliverables

Marketing & Brand Responsibilities

  • Own the Trade Show Savvy and Red Door Three brand voice, visual identity, and positioning across all channels
  • Develop and execute a content strategy that supports lead generation, thought leadership, and brand awareness
  • Lead the content program LinkedIn posts, blog, and related assets with support from the President
  • Manage social media presence across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
  • Oversee all marketing collateral sell sheets, case studies, website copy, email campaigns, and event materials
  • Direct outside creative vendors (designers, photographers, videographers) as needed
  • Track marketing performance and recommend adjustments based on results
  • Support the TSS platform's go-to-market efforts including client-facing product materials

Who You Are

  • You have 7+ years in a creative, brand, or marketing role ideally with significant exposure to the trade show, event, or experiential marketing industry
  • You think strategically and creatively you can write a brand positioning statement and sketch a booth concept in the same afternoon
  • You are confident and compelling in client conversations you lead with ideas and earn trust quickly
  • You understand trade show logistics well enough to know what is actually buildable
  • You are a strong writer who can adapt voice across channels from thought leadership posts to client emails to campaign copy
  • You are a self-starter who can manage multiple workstreams without losing detail
  • You thrive in a small-company environment where roles are fluid and priorities shift. You see the lack of bureaucracy as a feature, not a problem. When something needs to get done outside your job description, your instinct is to solve it, not escalate it.
  • You are based in or willing to relocate to the Grapevine / DFW area
  • You are comfortable with regular travel (estimated 2535%)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Rate: $48.00 $60.00 per hour depending on experience
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Health Insurance: Medical and dental coverage, effective 1st of the month after start date. Company pays a portion of the premium.
  • 401(k): Eligible after 30 days. Company matches up to 4% of eligible compensation.
  • Short-Term Disability: Company-paid. Up to 60 days at full pay for qualifying illness or injury.
  • PTO and Sick Time: Accrued PTO, sick time, and Work From Anywhere days per company policy.
  • Commuting Benefit: Daily commuting benefit based on individual commute time.
  • Travel: All business travel covered.
  • Location: Grapevine, TX (in-office, client-facing).
  • Reports To: President, Trade Show Savvy.

Why This Role

This is not a typical small-business marketing role. Here is what makes it different:

Real Ownership. You report directly to the President and own brand, voice, content, and client creative end-to-end. No layers, no committees, no fighting for a seat at the table.

A Technology Platform. TSS is a proprietary SaaS platform built specifically for exhibitor management. No other exhibit services company has tools like this for clients or for marketing.

Benefits That Actually Compete. 4% 401(k) match. Company-paid short-term disability at full pay. Medical and dental. Most small businesses do not offer this kind of package.

Work That Gets Made. Your ideas show up on real trade show floors and in real campaigns not in a deck that gets shelved.

A Path Forward. This role is positioned to grow into a Director-level position as the company expands and the marketing function matures. We hire for trajectory, not just today.

Pay: $48.00 - $60.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • 401(k) 4% Match
  • Commuter assistance
  • Dental insurance
  • Flexible schedule
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off

Work Location: In person
