Job description

Role: Brand Storyteller

Location: Beaverton, OR (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite)

Duration: 5+ Month Contract


Are you passionate about sports, running, media relations, and brand storytelling? We're looking for an experienced Communications Coordinator II to support the North America Running Communications team for a leading global sportswear organization.


What You'll Do:

Write and edit press releases, media materials, and communication assets

Support PR campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives

Coordinate media events, interviews, and press activities

✔ Build relationships with media partners and internal stakeholders

✔ Manage multiple communication projects in a fast-paced environment

✔ Support high-profile running events and activations


Required Qualifications:

✅ Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field

✅ 2–4 years of experience in Communications, Public Relations, or Brand Communications

✅ Experience within the sports industry (running experience highly preferred)

✅ Excellent writing and editing skills

✅ Experience creating press releases and external communications

✅ Strong project coordination and organizational skills

✅ Proficiency with Microsoft Office


Preferred Qualifications:

⭐ Passion for running and the running community

⭐ Experience with a PR Agency or Event Agency

⭐ Previous experience supporting major consumer or athletic brands

⭐ Comfortable with occasional travel and weekend event support
