Purpose of the role

Primary CL contact for a hyperscaler customer in the US

Leading a team to ensure best in class performance for the customer.
Strategically and continuously supporting the account and delivering value to productivity, efficiency, customer satisfaction, standardization and cost management.
Constant innovation will be needed to ensure both profitable and sustainable growth for DSV and the customer

Key responsibility

Customer Relationship Management to appropriate stakeholders on the customer side in the US
Establish vision, strategy and CL roadmap jointly with VP GCM Head for delivering net growth for customer (incl. Strategic account design, driving operational/ financial improvement, managing new opportunities)
Ensure that operations deliver what is expected by the customer 
Partnering with the GAD, Vertical Lead, Account exec and account sponsor to ensure alignment with wider company customer strategy
Internal point of escalations in the US
Secure alignment and agreement with CL P&L owners for all CL products
Pro-actively driving Continuous Improvement & Innovation, sharing Best Practices & Knowledge across all accounts and between teams
Ensure compliance to DSV global standards and contribute to continuous improvement of these standards

Qualifications & Expertise
 
At minimum bachelor in logistics or similar study
10+ years' experience in commercial and or operational roles in the contract logistics/ 3PL industry, ideally incl. P&L accountability
Ideally expertise within the account industry and high-level understanding of local market conditions
Knowledge of Operations, IT, Account management (e.g. scope of work, Terms and Conditions)
Fluent Business English (written and verbal)
Experienced in working in a global matrix organization

Need to act with pace due to the speed at which the customer works, able to work under pressure
Strong interpersonal, intercultural and communication skills at all levels of the internal and customer organization and across geographies

For this position, the expected base pay range is $168,000.00-$210,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
