Join the team at Ford’s Colony Country Club, nestled in the heart of historic Williamsburg, Virginia, where we offer three stunning Dan Maples-designed courses featuring 54 holes of rolling fairways and picturesque landscapes. As we approach our 40th anniversary, this is an incredible time to be part of our inviting community, known for its world-class amenities, including diverse dining options, beautiful event spaces, and top-notch practice facilities.

We are looking for a friendly Server to take and deliver orders. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our members’ and guests experiences. Server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus, taking orders for and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you!

Compensation:  $3.00 per hour + Tips and Gratuities

Benefits:  Full-Time Associates receive benefits include health, dental, vision, and life, 401(k), paid time off, and other employee discount benefits through our HR-provider LL Roberts.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Greets guest/members upon arrival; assists with seating as needed
  • Opens/presents/pours wines and champagnes in a professional manner as needed
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation at all times; performs closing clean-up duties
  • Handles purchasing transactions, which include operating cash register and accounting of daily sales
  • Resolves guest/member problems/complaints; utilizes own best judgment in resolving issues or refers to management as needed
  • Accurately writes tickets for food and beverage items; turns tickets into kitchen/bar in a timely manner; coordinates with kitchen staff to clarify any special requests
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

  • Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of state liquor regulations; ability to identify when a guest/member has had his/her alcohol limit.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
