Job description

Amentum is seeking a Intermediate Counterintelligence Officer to support our U.S. Department of Energy and Counterintelligence (DOE-IN) contract. Position location for the position will be out of the National Energy Technology Lab (NETL), Morgantown, WV. The individual will split their time between there and supporting out of Pittsburgh, PA (~60 miles apart). Responsibilities Serves as Counterintelligence Officer (CIO), specific duties and functions include, but are not limited to, the following: * Conducting CI/Counter Terrorism (CT) investigations across the DOE complex. * Works closely with the FBI and the USIC to assist in any ongoing espionage, terrorism, or related operations and investigations at responsible facilities. * Serve as liaison and interface with DOE facility management and local law enforcement agencies surrounding the assigned facility. * Provides case-related updates to the Senior Counterintelligence Officer (SCIO), facilities senior management and other DOE CI executives. * Provides CI/CT defensive briefings and debriefings to Departmental personnel in foreign intelligence and terrorist activities/threats. * Traveling between Charleston, WV and Pittsburgh, PA Requirements * Active Top Secret Clearance * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college. A Master's Degree is desirable. * Ten (10) years of experience as a CI Officer/agent conducting typical CI program activities to include CI inquiries and/or espionage investigations. * Must have experience as a primary case agent in counterintelligence case management at DOE, the FBI or DOD and must have advanced interviewing and elicitation techniques. * Individual must have demonstrated evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills, conflict resolution techniques, and proven ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines. * Must have functional computer literacy, and be proficient in common computer and network applications. * Must be willing to split time at two location.
