Job description

AIS Industrial and Construction Supply in beautiful Denver, Colorado, is currently seeking the right Counter Sales professional to fill an immediate opening for an Industrial Counter Sales Representative. If you have a desire to meet new people, be part of a dynamic team, and contribute to the bottom line of Colorado’s largest stocking independent industrial distributor-- than this position is for you!

In this position, you’ll be selling Industrial MRO, Safety, and Construction supplies to contractors, powerplants, jobsites, and other customers helping them find the right nationally branded products for the job.

Key Responsibilities:

· Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

· Understand customer requirements and suggest appropriate products.

· Maintain stock display, cleanliness, and product arrangement at the counter area.

· Handle billing, invoicing, and payment collection at the counter.

· Enter and process customer orders

Skills Required:

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Basic product knowledge and ability to explain technical details clearly.

· Sales and negotiation ability.

· Customer service orientation.

· Basic computer/point-of-sale (POS) handling skills.

Qualifications:

· Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Customer service mindset with proven relationship-building experience

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.

· Sales experience in the Hardware or Construction Field.(Preferred but not required)
