Job description

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Counter Representative opportunities in Austin, TX. Responsibilities for a Counter Representative include but are not limited to:

  • Perform daily cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations to maintain inventory accuracy and system integrity.

  • Receive, stock, issue, and return materials while supporting inventory control and stockroom operations.

  • Process incoming receipts, outgoing cleans, crib requests, and non-moving inventory pull and staging activities.

  • Provide excellent customer service at the parts counter while maintaining organized inventory locations and adhering to warehouse procedures and SOPs.

Candidates for Counter Representative must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • Previous counter experience in a wholesale distribution environment required.

  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with inventory management, cycle counting, stockroom operations, or material handling preferred.

  • High attention to detail, ability to work independently, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

  • Local market knowledge is a plus.

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
