MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Costpoint Time & Labor Systems Business Analyst to join our team.
The Costpoint Time & Labor Systems Business Analyst will leverage their strong functional background and knowledge to own the day-to-day administration, configuration, and optimization of our Deltek Costpoint 8.2 Time and Expense module.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Owning the end-to-end functional configuration of Costpoint 8.2 Time & Expense, including managing labor periods, timesheet classes, leave types, and work schedules while ensuring compliance with DCAA/FAR requirements.
  • Monitoring, running, and troubleshooting labor and leave integrations migrating data between Costpoint and Workday, partnering with HRIS and payroll teams to ensure data integrity across systems.
  • Serving as the Tier 2/3 functional support lead for Time & Labor to resolve user incidents, troubleshoot system bugs, and manage support tickets within established SLAs.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements for system improvements and authoring comprehensive Functional Design Documents (FDDs) for custom extensions, reports, or workflows.
  • Participating in Deltek Cloud release management, leading functional regression testing, validating monthly/quarterly patches, and documenting test scripts to ensure updates do not disrupt daily time tracking.
  • Updating system documentation, maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), and providing targeted training to end-users or payroll administrators on system updates.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or information technology field, or equivalent progressive training and experience.
  • +5 years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst focused on Deltek Costpoint.
  • Deep, hands-on functional knowledge of the Costpoint Time & Expense module, specifically version 8.2.
  • Proven experience working within a Costpoint Cloud (SaaS/SaaS Gov) infrastructure.
  • Direct experience managing or troubleshooting data flows between Costpoint and third-party HRIS platforms, with Workday integration experience preferred.
  • Solid understanding of government contracting labor regulations, including DCAA timesheet compliance and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) rules.
  • Strong ability to write clear, development-ready Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and map complex business processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience designing and creating custom Cognos reports.
  • Hands-on experience with Deltek AI (DELA) tools.
  • Familiarity with Costpoint People/Payroll or Core Contract modules.
  • Self-starter with excellent people who is comfortable translating technical system constraints to non-technical accounting and HR teams.

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $105,900.00-$177,300.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
