The Opportunity

We are seeking a transformational leader to serve as our Director of Production Systems, responsible for driving full adoption, process alignment, and business impact from our core production enterprise systems starting with Deltek Costpoint (ERP/MRP), SFT (Shop Floor Time for Hourly Employees) TIP QA (Quality) and TIP SFE (Shop Floor Execution) and extending to key supporting tools across Planning, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance.

What you will do?

  • ERP/MRP Utilization Leadership (Deltek Costpoint) - Lead enterprise-wide optimization and adoption of Deltek Costpoint ERP and MRP modules. - Eliminate workarounds and drive confidence in Costpoint as the single source of truth for planning, procurement, production, and financial execution. - Align system configuration with real-world execution across Engineering, Planning, Operations, and Finance.
  • Process & Data Governance - Standardize BOMs, routings, part masters, inventory policies, and supplier data to enable reliable planning and execution. - Govern change control workflows to ensure accurate system reflection of engineering and operational changes. - Define ownership and maintenance responsibilities for critical system data.
  • MRP & Planning Optimization - Ensure full utilization of MRP functionality: demand propagation, pegging logic, lead time planning, reschedule notices, and planner actions. - Partner with production planners and buyers to drive timely, data-driven decisions from system outputs. - Drive inventory and procurement discipline through accurate planning data.
  • Shop Floor Time - Ensure time is collected at level that supports KPIs and Continuous Improvements over life cycle of programs
  • TIP QA (Quality - Ensure proper reporting of Non Conformance, Corrective Action and supports KPIs and Continuous Improvements over life cycle of programs
  • TIP SFE Shop Floor Execution - Ensure progress is measured at a Shop detail and Information needed to execute on the shop floor is available. Create KPIs and Continuous Improvements reviews over life cycle of programs
  • Functional Tools & Execution Systems - Own and optimize key supporting tools and systems that enable execution outside of Costpoint, including: - Planning spreadsheets or dashboards - Quality Management Systems (QMS) - Work order or traveler systems - Supplier portals or timekeeping systems - Rationalize legacy tools and align all supporting systems to the Costpoint core. - Lead evaluation and implementation of new tools as business needs evolve.
  • Reporting & Performance Management - Build and maintain dashboards and metrics to monitor system usage, data health, and process outcomes. - Establish KPIs including schedule adherence, inventory accuracy, material availability index, and cost performance all grounded in system data. - Drive compliance and accountability through transparency and ongoing engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. MBA preferred
  • 710+ years of experience in ERP, business systems, or operations leadership roles in a manufacturing or program-based environment
  • Deep functional expertise in Deltek Costpoint, particularly in Manufacturing, MRP, Materials, Procurement, and Costing
  • Proven track record of driving ERP adoption, process alignment, and operational impact.
  • Cross-functional leadership experience across Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Understanding of BOM structures, manufacturing routings, inventory management, cost accounting, and MRP logic.
