Financial Accountant III

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 7:45 AMโ€“4:30 PM

Location: Downtown San Antonio, TX


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant III to perform advanced professional accounting and financial reporting work. This position will support financial reporting, account analysis, audit preparation, and compliance while working closely with internal departments and accounting professionals

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Perform financial and budget variance analysis
  • Research, review, and interpret financial transactions
  • Assist with annual audits and preparation of auditor-requested documentation
  • Ensure accounting activities comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and applicable policies and procedures
  • Review accounting standards and assist with implementing updated accounting procedures
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support to internal teams
  • Identify and resolve accounting and financial reporting issues
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure accurate financial records
  • Perform other accounting and financial duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Four years of progressively responsible accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices
  • Experience preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and audit documentation
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
