What is a part time Costpoint?

A Part Time Costpoint position typically involves working with Costpoint, a specialized enterprise resource planning (ERP) software used by government contractors and project-driven organizations, on a part-time basis. Employees in this role may assist with tasks such as financial reporting, billing, timesheet management, and compliance tracking using the Costpoint system. These roles are often designed for individuals who need flexible hours but have experience with accounting or project management systems. Part Time Costpoint positions are commonly found in finance, accounting, and administrative departments within companies that use Costpoint.

Attention to detail, time management, and strong communication skills help in meeting deadlines and collaborating with team members effectively. These skills are crucial for ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and efficient workflow in organizations using Costpoint for project accounting.

Part-time Costpoint professionals often face challenges such as balancing multiple project deadlines with limited hours, ensuring data accuracy within the Deltek Costpoint system, and keeping up with frequent updates or changes in contract requirements. The Opportunity:
As an experienced engineer, you know that agentic AI is transforming how organizations operate, make decisions, and deliver outcomes at speed. Your ability to design and build practical agentic systems that turn manual workflows into AI-enabled solutions makes you an integral part of transforming Booz Allen's enterprise business systems. We need your technical depth, product mindset, and problem-solving drive to support Project Keystone.
Project Keystone is an enterprise-wide transformation initiative modernizing core business systems across Source-to-Pay (S2P), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and associated reporting and data workstreams. The program drives end-to-end process modernization by integrating platforms such as Icertis, Ivalua, and Costpoint to enable scalable, secure, and well-governed digital capabilities. This effort underpins Booz Allen's broader readiness strategy-enhancing organizational efficiency, strengthening user adoption, and enabling measurable business impact.
You will support complex workstreams spanning agentic AI prototyping, business process modernization, technology implementation, data, reporting, testing, change readiness, and stakeholder engagement. You will collaborate with program leaders, product owners, functional subject matter experts, technical teams, and business stakeholders to define requirements, coordinate delivery activities, and maintain alignment across interconnected initiatives.
You will be part of a high-performing, cross-functional team operating in a dynamic transformation environment where priorities may shift and multiple efforts run in parallel. Success in this role requires leadership, adaptability, clear communication, strong execution, and ownership of outcomes from planning through implementation. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Work with us to modernize critical enterprise capabilities and help shape the future of how Booz Allen operates.
Join us. The world can't wait.
You Have:

  • 1+ years of experience designing, developing, evaluating, or implementing agentic AI applications in prototype or production environments
  • Experience coordinating activities across process design, system implementation, data, reporting, testing, deployment, or organizational readiness workstreams
  • Experience implementing agent orchestration frameworks, and designing and implementing agent loops, tool-calling workflows, and multi-agent interaction patterns
  • Knowledge of LLM platforms and providers, including OpenAI and Databricks
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques for reliability, controllability, and task performance
  • Knowledge of MCP usage and development, including integration of external tools and capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or technology field

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation or technology modernization programs
