Job description

Description

At Arrive AI (Nasdaq: ARAI), we're not just building products-we're transforming the future of the Autonomous Last Mile (ALM). Over a decade ago, we started with a pioneering vision and patents for the first smart mailbox for drone delivery. Through systematic research, development, and deep customer collaboration, we've evolved to today where we deploy Arrive Points-a type of smart locker and mini-cross-docks for frictionless drone, robotic, and courier delivery and pickup, utilized from medical supplies to meals to e-commerce. Arrive AI is now growing and investing to scale an ALM network and platform of the future for all autonomous delivery providers, services, and customers. Arrive AI is the intelligent choice for the last inch of the Autonomous Last Mile.

About Us

This role blends technical accounting knowledge, internal controls expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the integrity of our financial reporting as a NASDAQ-listed company. ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Maintain and update the SOX control framework-documenting key controls, narratives, and process flow documentation (risk and control matrices).

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Plan and execute control testing (design and operating effectiveness) in coordination with stakeholders and auditors.

Financial Reporting & Regulatory Compliance

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Support preparation and review of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Monitor evolving regulatory guidance (FASB, SEC, PCAOB) and assess applicability and impact to Arrive AI's compliance obligations.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Partner with the CFO and Controller to ensure financial disclosures meet all NASDAQ listing standards.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Maintain the company's financial policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Cross-Functional Partnership

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Collaborate with Finance, Legal and IT to embed compliance considerations into business processes and system changes.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Support IT general controls (ITGCs) assessments in partnership with the IT team, particularly as they relate to financial systems.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Provide compliance guidance on new business initiatives, contracts, and transactions to ensure regulatory alignment.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Train and educate internal stakeholders on SOX requirements, control responsibilities, and compliance culture.

Risk Management & Ethics

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Contribute to the company's enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, identifying and monitoring key financial and operational risks.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Support Arrive AI's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics by reinforcing a culture of accountability and ethical financial practices.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Maintain awareness of and adherence to anti-bribery and corruption regulations (including FCPA) and other applicable financial laws.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Strong internal controls embedded across financial processes that scale with the company's growth.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย A trusted compliance partner for leadership-known for practical, solutions-oriented guidance.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย A culture of financial integrity and accountability across the organization.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Timely, accurate SEC filings with zero material weaknesses or significant deficiencies.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Excellent communication skills-able to translate complex regulatory requirements for non-finance stakeholders.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Organized, self-directed, and comfortable operating with autonomy in a growth-stage, fast-moving environment.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Experience with financial systems and IT general controls; familiarity with ERP environments is a plus.
