Hiring Manager: General Manager of Finance & Accounting

FLSA Status: Exempt

Working Status: Full-Time


JOB SUMMARY

The Finance & Accounting Manager supports ongoing Finance & Accounting operations following the integration of acquired businesses and reports to the General Manager of Finance & Accounting. This role supports Day 2 finance operations, including financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, AR/AP support, inventory analysis, SOX compliance, accounting audit and internal control activities. The position also supports SAP S/4HANA stabilization and finance process improvement.


The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge (CPA preferred), hands-on US GAAP and IFRS reporting experience, audit experience, and strong analytical and ERP system support skills.

Requirements

SAP S/4HANA Stabilization & Support

  • Support data validation, reconciliation, and master data accuracy review.
  • Participate in system testing (UAT/SIT) and document results.
  • Support SAP S/4HANA stabilization and process improvement activities.ย 

Finance & Accounting Support

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities under US GAAP and IFRS.ย 
  • Perform account reconciliations, financial data review, and intercompany balance confirmation.ย 
  • Support and provide oversight for AR/AP operations, including customer collection follow-up, vendor payment processing, and credit control monitoring.ย 
  • Assist with inventory-related analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.ย 
  • Maintain finance procedures, supporting schedules, internal control, and SOX compliance documentation.ย 
  • Support external audit requests, audit documentation preparation, and corporate insurance administration (property and general liability).
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and operational support to the Finance team.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work cross-functionally in a project environment.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (S/4HANA preferred) or other major ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS reporting.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 3-6 years in a leadership or management role.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementation or finance transformation projects preferred.
  • Audit experience preferred.
