Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a high-impact Finance & Accounting Manager to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you will serve as a key contributor to financial planning, forecasting, and reporting across the organization. You will report directly to the Director of Finance and support the financial direction of a fast-growing healthcare technology company.

As a member of a lean, high-performing finance team, you will have broad exposure across the business - from partnering with leadership on strategic financial decisions to supporting the accounting team with month-end close, variance analysis, and reporting. This is not a siloed role; you will work cross-functionally across the organization to provide the financial insight that drives business decisions. If you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can build processes, solve novel problems, and see the direct impact of your work, this role is for you.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis, with variance commentary comparing actuals to budget and prior periods
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including gathering inputs from department heads, consolidating financial plans, and maintaining rolling forecasts
  • Build and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis, strategic planning, and investor or board-level reporting
  • Partner with the Accounting team on month-end close activities, ensuring alignment between operational results and GAAP financial statements
  • Support financial audits, tax preparation, and compliance reporting, serving as a key point of contact for information requests and documentation
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger by reviewing account reconciliations and supporting journal entry preparation as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of Board of Directors and executive-level presentations, translating financial data into clear narratives and actionable insights
  • Track, maintain, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, ensuring leadership has timely and accurate visibility into business performance
  • Serve as a finance business partner to cross-functional teams, providing financial context, answering budget-related questions, and supporting data-driven decision making
  • Support prospect and customer contract reviews in collaboration with Sales and Legal, helping to assess deal economics, pricing structures, and revenue recognition implications
  • Assist in the review and management of vendor contracts, tracking key terms, renewal dates, and payment obligations to support cost management and vendor accountability
  • Provide timely ad hoc financial analysis and decision support in response to requests from department heads and senior leadership
  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate financial processes, reporting workflows, and data infrastructure as the company scales

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal oversight
  • Process-oriented mindset with a drive to identify inefficiencies and implement automation and scalable solutions
  • Exceptional attention to detail balanced with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy
  • Versatile self-starter who is comfortable wearing many hats - equally at ease supporting a month-end close as contributing to a board-level financial presentation

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA a plus).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Accounting or Investment Banking

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Physical and or Travel Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Occasional travel as needed to support business goals

Salary Range:

  • $115 - $130k USD
