What are conversion specialists?

Conversion specialists are professionals who focus on increasing the percentage of website visitors or app users who take a desired action, such as making a purchase or signing up for a newsletter. They analyze user behavior, test different web elements, and implement strategies to improve conversion rates. Their work often involves using tools for A/B testing, user experience design, and data analytics to optimize the sales or sign-up processes. Ultimately, their goal is to maximize the effectiveness of digital marketing and user engagement efforts.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist, you need strong analytical skills, experience in digital marketing, and a background in statistics or data analysis. Familiarity with A/B testing tools (such as Optimizely or Google Optimize), web analytics platforms (like Google Analytics), and UX/UI design principles is essential. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, creativity, and effective communication skills help you develop and present impactful optimization strategies. These skills are crucial to improving website performance, increasing conversions, and maximizing ROI for businesses.

How can I make $2000 a week working from home?

A conversion specialist or similar remote roles can earn $2000 or more weekly by providing high-volume, results-driven services such as sales, lead generation, or customer support. Success depends on skills, experience, and the ability to handle multiple clients or projects, often requiring proficiency with relevant tools and strong communication skills.

Which 3 jobs will survive AI?

Jobs that require complex human interaction, creativity, and critical thinking, such as healthcare professionals, skilled tradespeople, and creative roles like writers and designers, are less likely to be fully replaced by AI. These roles often involve emotional intelligence, nuanced judgment, and hands-on skills that AI cannot replicate easily.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals in conversion optimization roles, and how can they be addressed?

To address these, it's important to develop strong data analysis skills, maintain clear communication with cross-functional teams, and stay updated on the latest CRO tools and methodologies. Additionally, collaborating closely with designers, developers, and marketers can help ensure that insights are translated into effective, user-centered improvements across digital channels.

Job description

About Us
Conversion is the AI-native marketing automation platform for modern software companies. Our platform lets growth teams run their entire go-to-market motion in one place, from acquisition through retention, with AI agents doing the work that legacy tools like Marketo, HubSpot, and Pardot can't.
We've raised $28M+ from Abstract Ventures, True Ventures, and HOF Capital. The team is based in San Francisco and includes engineers, designers, and operators from Airbnb, Palantir, Pinterest, IMC, Shopify, LinkedIn, and Microsoft.
About the Role
Hey there! James here , co-founder at Conversion. Just wanted to share my thoughts on the perfect candidate we're looking for to be one our Founding Deployment Strategists.
So what exactly is a Deployment Strategist? At Conversion, they make sure enterprise AI deployments succeed. A $100k+ deal does not survive on a nice pitch or a self-serve onboarding flow. It survives if the customer sees value in the pilot.
This means embodying four core responsibilities:
  1. Sales enablement: Partnering with the sales team to help close deals and execute proof-of-concepts for enterprise customers.
  2. Customer migration: Orchestrating the transition from a customer's existing marketing infrastructure onto Conversion, acting as the bridge between their teams and our engineers to ensure a smooth and successful implementation.
  3. Succeeding with Conversion: Helping advise marketing teams on how to use this powerful new tool to 10x their marketing efforts. AI is now just finding it's way into enterprises, and we need someone to help customers discover what's truly possible in a post-LLM world.
  4. Shaping product: Working closely with engineering and product to shape the product with the most valuable input of all: customer feedback

This role is in-person 5 days/week in San Francisco.
You Might Be a Good Fit If You
  • Thrive cross-functionally, working alongside engineering, growth, and product
  • Have studied or worked in software engineering, but found that interfacing with customers is much more exciting than writing code all day

You Might Be a Great Fit If You
  • Love helping customers, and gain fulfillment from seeing customers thrive and succeed with the products we build
