Controller – Law Firm
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL | Onsite
Salary $130,000 - $160,000

A well‑established Florida law firm with a 40+ year history is seeking a hands‑on Controller to lead its accounting and finance operations. The firm employs 50+ professionals (including 20+ attorneys), operates from three Florida offices, and is known for its collegial, family‑office culture and long employee tenure. Clients include public and private companies, including Fortune 500 organizations.

The Role
This is a key leadership position reporting directly to the Managing Partner. The incoming Controller will oversee a team of two and manage all day‑to‑day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly close and financial statement preparation
  • Oversee daily/monthly reporting and cash flow monitoring
  • Manage in‑house payroll and intercompany accounting
  • Provide financial analysis and updates to firm leadership
