Remote | Full-Time

The Law Offices of James L. Arrasmith is seeking a California Law Firm Paralegal to support attorneys across a broad California civil practice. This role is ideal for someone with strong legal drafting skills, solid case management experience, and a working knowledge of California legal procedures.
Our firm handles a wide range of legal matters, including landlord-tenant and eviction matters, family law, civil litigation, civil rights, animal law, appellate practice, employment law, real estate disputes, personal injury, insurance claims, construction matters, education law, government and administrative matters, municipal issues, foreclosure defense, business law, and contract disputes.
The Paralegal will assist attorneys with organizing case files, drafting and editing pleadings, discovery, correspondence, declarations, notices, memoranda, and other legal documents. This role also includes reviewing documents, maintaining deadlines, communicating with clients and witnesses, preparing case materials, supporting hearings and trial preparation, and helping attorneys move matters forward from intake through resolution.
The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage multiple assignments in a remote law firm environment. Strong writing skills, clear communication, deadline awareness, and careful follow-through are essential.
This position is classified as a Paralegal in accordance with California Business and Professions Code Section 6450. Candidates must meet the qualifications required under California law to work as a paralegal.

This is a remote position.
