What You’ll Do
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of the Stroke Program, ensuring high-quality, guideline-driven care
  • Collaborate with medical directors and interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes
  • Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based stroke protocols
  • Analyze patient data and lead quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and certification readiness
  • Provide education to staff, patients, families, and the community
  • Facilitate research efforts and continuous learning within the program
  • Drive program sustainability through reporting, evaluation, and innovation

What You BringRequired:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington/MSL
  • Minimum:
    • 4 years in a healthcare setting
    • 2 years in stroke or neuroscience care
  • Experience educating clinicians or leading training initiatives
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification (within 6 months)
Preferred:
  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Program leadership or management experience
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner credential
Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of national and state stroke guidelines
  • Data analysis and quality improvement expertise
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
