Job description

The Management Analyst II provides programmatic, financial, and administrative support to government program offices within a contractor-supported environment. This role supports day-to-day program operations by maintaining financial documents, tracking deliverables, and developing recurring reports and metrics. The analyst works closely with government leads, program managers, technical teams, and financial staff to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant program documentation.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update financial tracking spreadsheets including obligations, expenditures, variances, forecasts, and funding profiles.
  • Record and distribute meeting minutes for weekly program status meetings, capturing key decisions, action items, risks, and follow-ups.
  • Attend daily systems or technical meetings to monitor ongoing updates and ensure program tracking documents remain current.
  • Update and compile Monthly Program Status Reports (MPSRs) in accordance with government reporting requirements and contract guidelines.
  • Maintain program spend plans, incorporating actuals, forecasts, contract modifications, and updated funding guidance.
  • Update deliverable tracking lists, ensuring timely submission of contract deliverables and maintaining visibility of due dates, dependencies, and government acceptance.
  • Maintain and refresh bubble charts and other visual metrics, supporting program reviews, performance briefings, and contract reporting requirements.
  • Attend bi-weekly financial meetings with government and contractor staff to capture financial updates, document actions, and support data reconciliation tasks.

Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience providing program, financial, or administrative support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and common financial tracking tools.
  • Strong writing and documentation skills suitable for formal government deliverables.
  • Security Clearance Required
