What You'll Be Doing

Customer Experience & Sales Support

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with top designers, luxury showrooms, and sales teams, delivering exceptional service
  • Provide expert product knowledge to assist clients confidently and accurately
  • Handle inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and resolve concerns for designers, architects, and installers
  • Manage orders, coordinate shipments, and track logistics to ensure timely delivery
  • Process payments, create packing lists, and handle returns or replacements efficiently
  • Perform meticulous data entry and ensure accurate CRM documentation
  • Assist clients with web account setup, order processing, and pricing quotes
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and make proactive outbound calls for sales follow-ups
  • Act as the main connection of support to Phillip Jeffries HQ for assigned territories, including the contract sales team, dual reps, and partner showrooms
  • Coordinate sample orders for assigned territories while reps are on the road
  • Review client contracts to ensure the requested product aligns with requirements
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, offering support to colleagues and departments

Pipeline & Project Management

  • Collaborate with sales reps and clients to align on project timelines, goals, and execution
  • Manage the full project life cycle, ensuring deadlines for approvals, meetings, and onsite needs are met
  • Serve as the liaison between departments, tracking progress, updating CRM records, and resolving potential issues proactively
  • Maintain organized project documentation, ensuring all necessary details are available in CRM and Contract Folders
  • Provide proactive follow-up on quotes before expiration and ensure accurate pricing coordination
  • Regularly communicate with sales reps to review and update project statuses

What You Bring to the Table

  • Location preference Chicago, IL area or availability to work from 8:30 AM-5:30 PM CST
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or sales support role
  • Ability to build strong relationships with sales representatives and clients
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an outstanding phone manner
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive problem-solving approach, utilizing analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Excellent time management and follow-up abilities
  • Proficient computer skills, including data management, Microsoft Word, and Excel
