Varstaff is currently searching for the following:
 

We are seeking a contract Project Manager to lead the rapid construction of temporary structures. This is a fast-paced, short-duration engagement requiring someone who can hit the ground running. 

Responsibilities 

  • Manage end-to-end construction activities, including scheduling, contractor coordination, and milestone tracking 
  • Ensure design requirements and specifications are met throughout the build 
  • Identify and drive lead time reductions across procurement, fabrication, and installation 
  • Manage vendors and subcontractors, including scope, performance, and change orders 
  • Track project budget and flag cost variances early 
  • Oversee safety compliance and ensure all work meets applicable standards 
  • Communicate status, risks, and blockers to project stakeholders 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field 
  • 5+ years of project management experience in construction, facilities, or structures 
  • Demonstrated ability to compress schedules and manage multiple work streams simultaneously 
  • Experience managing vendors, subcontractors, and change orders 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • PMP or equivalent experience preferred 

Preferred 

  • Experience managing construction or installation of temporary or modular structures, including tent structures 
  • Familiarity with rapid-deploy or expeditionary construction environments
