One Park Financial (OPF) is a fast-growing FinTech (Financial Technology) company headquartered in Coconut Grove, Florida. OPF connects small businesses with a wide variety of flexible financing and funding options to help entrepreneurs acquire the working capital they need to take their business to the next level.

We want to work with high-performing individuals who will play an integral part in our continued growth. We believe success comes down to working with the right people and enabling them to do what they do best.

We are seeking an Analytics Engineer to design and build our DBT analytics infrastructure from the ground up. This is a greenfield opportunity for someone who has done it before and knows exactly how it should be done. You will own the end-to-end architecture of our DBT environment - from project structure and modeling layers to testing frameworks, documentation standards, and deployment pipelines - all built on top of our AWS data stack. The ideal candidate is opinionated, hands-on, and brings proven, real-world experience standing up DBT from scratch in a production environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Architect and build the DBT project from the ground up (define folder structure, naming conventions, modeling layers, and coding standards as the foundation for the entire analytics org)
  • Establish a robust testing and data quality framework and maintain DBT documentation and lineage so the organization can trust and understand the data
  • Set up and manage the DBT deployment pipeline, including CI/CD, scheduling, and environment management (dev/staging/prod)
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines ingesting from APIs and internal systems, and translate business logic into clean, analytics-ready datasets in collaboration with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders
  • Support financial modeling, reporting, and BI use cases while continuously optimizing model performance and warehouse costs
Work Schedule
  • Monday-Friday, standard business hours
  • On-site position based in Miami, Florida
  • Remote position based in Dallas, Texas

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role
  • Demonstrated experience building a DBT project from scratch in a production environment, including project structure, layered modeling (staging intermediate marts), testing frameworks, macros, CI/CD integration, and documentation
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong experience with AWS data infrastructure (Athena, S3, Glue, or equivalent)
  • Experience ingesting and modeling data from APIs and external sources, with a strong grasp of data quality and validation best practices
  • Experience supporting analytics, reporting, and financial modeling use cases in a fast-paced environment
  • Snowflake experience

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Health insurance
  • Dental & vision insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Office snacks
  • Monthly events
  • Collaborative and growth-oriented work environment
