Union Hospital is looking to add a Patient Access Manager to the team who will manage the daily operations of the patient registration and access functionswithin the Patient Access areas, including Outpatient, Surgery, Emergency Department and Central Scheduling.Some of your daily responsibilities will include conducting daily huddles, monitoringtime-keepingand tracking attendance,interviewing,hiringandtrainingcaregiversandensuringappropriate staffinglevels for an efficient operation.This isa great opportunityfor a caregiver who has strong critical thinkingskills and an open mind to ensurea strong teamculture and that operations are running smoothly.

A caregiver in this positionworksdays from 8:00AM - 4:30PM, with on-call requirements.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Assistwith developing specific departmental goals,standardsandobjectiveswhich directly support the organization's strategic plan and vision.

  • Manage staff relations including performance management, staffsatisfactionand conflict management.

  • Perform and oversee scheduling, recruitment,payrolland student engagements.

  • Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmentalcontractsand vendor relations.

  • Assistwith the development and implementation of policies, procedures,standardsand initiatives for the department.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • HighSchoolDiploma or equivalent

  • Five years of experience in Healthcare or Customer Service Management

  • Will consider Finance, HIS, IT or Nursing supervisory experience in high volume facility

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

  • Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.

  • In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.

  • In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum Annual Salary: $63,250.00

Maximum Annual Salary: $96,467.50

A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
