Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting into the Senior Director, Total Rewards, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining employee data and personnel files within the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This role supports all functional areas of the Human Resources team by ensuring data integrity, compliance, and timely processing of employee information.
Our ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working independently, and able to work with large amounts of confidential data.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
  • Enter, update, and maintain employee data in Workday, including job changes, terminations, compensation updates, job profiles, and compensation records.
  • Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.
  • Identify, correct, and resolve data errors or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to established data entry standards, workflows, and approval processes within Workday.
  • Provide HR operational support during high-volume periods such as open enrollment, performance cycles, and merit increases.
  • Assist with basic reporting and data extracts as requested.
  • Document and maintain data entry procedures, guidelines, and updates.
  • Respond to routine HR or system-related inquiries related to employee data.
  • Support the Senior HR Operations & Communications Specialist with onboarding activities, including New Hire Orientation and reviewing new hire data for accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional TransMedics duties and responsibilities as assigned.

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
This position manages the following positions on a daily basis.
  • This position will not have management responsibilities.

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES
  • General office environment working on-site 5 days per week in Andover, Massachusetts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2 Years of Experience in Data Entry in Workday HCM
  • Associates Degree Required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with Workday EIBs and data uploads.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data entry tools
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to follow standardized processes and meet deadlines independently
  • Familiarity with HR concepts such as onboarding, job changes, or payroll data
  • Experience working in an HR, Payroll, or administrative environment
  • Confident working with high volumes of confidential data
