Position - IT EDI Developer - Senior
Location: St.Louis, MO
Duration: 6 Month Contract TO HIRE
End Client: Express Scripts
POSITION SUMMARY: B2B/EDI engineer responsible for detail design, development, documentation, debugging and implementation of B2B/EDI solutions. Recommends changes and enhancements to improve quality of products and/or procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Participate in developing software according to established requirements, technical plans, standards and system architecture specifications.
• Utilize development practices that adhere to the Express Scripts Inc. (ESI) and B2B department policies, procedures and patterns ("Best Practices").
• Architect, design, development, test, and implementation of applications.
• Architect, design and implement a highly available and supportable run time environment.
• Assist in building technical standards, methodologies and processes for successfully building first class external client integration (B2B) environment.
• Resolve daily technical (support) issues and communicate solutions to the business community and technical staff.
• Write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections.
• Provide assistance to IT team members with issues needing technical expertise or systems and/or programming knowledge.
