Job description

Contract Event Marketing Specialist (Third-Party Events) — Contractor (pay-as-you-go). 100% Remote. Marketplace Pay Rate: $35.46/hr. Expected start Aug 17, 2026. 40 hrs/week, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm PST. Occasional travel for onsite event execution.

Summary: Seeking a highly organized, execution-focused Contract Event Marketing Specialist to support the planning and delivery of third-party industry events. Partners closely with the Event Marketing Manager to execute event logistics, coordinate cross-functional deliverables, manage timelines, and ensure flawless onsite event operations. While the Event Marketing Manager owns overall event strategy, this role brings those strategies to life through exceptional execution.

Responsibilities:

Event Execution & Logistics

- Support end-to-end execution of 10-15 third-party industry events annually

- Manage project timelines, workback schedules, and deliverable tracking

- Coordinate venue logistics, shipping, vendor communications, and onsite operations

- Manage registration, attendee communications, and event documentation

- Coordinate hotel rooming lists, staffing logistics, and travel support

Cross-Functional Project Management

- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure all event deliverables are completed on schedule

- Ensure assets, signage, giveaways, demos, and collateral are produced and delivered on time

Operational Excellence

- Maintain project documentation and standard operating procedures

- Track event KPIs and support post-event reporting

- Support onsite event execution, including occasional travel

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in event marketing, event planning, or project management

- Proven experience independently executing logistics for conferences, trade shows, or corporate events (vendors, shipping, registration, onsite operations)

- Strong project management discipline: building/maintaining workback schedules, tracking deliverables, keeping stakeholders aligned to deadlines

- Ability to manage multiple events at once in a fast-paced environment with a high bar for detail and quality

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; effective partnering with marketing, sales, executives, and external vendors

- Proactive, problem-solving mindset that anticipates risks early

- Comfort using CRM and project management tools (Salesforce, Asana, or similar)
