Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Document Control (contractor/vendor) to support our team with document management, administrative tasks, and miscellaneous project support. This individual will work across various document formats and platforms, ensuring files are accurate, well-formatted, and properly maintained.

RS Technologies Inc. ("RS") - RESILIENT STRUCTURES for a reliable grid - is a leading manufacturer specializing in high-performance composite utility structures. Our poles are utilized in transmission, distribution, substation, and communication applications, offering a lighter, more durable, and longer-lasting alternative to wood, steel, and concrete. Since 2003, our poles have served over five hundred customers across thirty countries. RESILIENT STRUCTURES operates globally, with manufacturing facilities in Tilbury, Ontario; St. George, Utah; and Houston, Texas, ensuring worldwide distribution of our ultra-resilient poles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, update, format, and revise documents in PDF, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel, and other formats as needed.
  • Upload, organize, and maintain files across company platforms and shared drives.
  • Support document control processes, including version control, formatting consistency, and file organization.
  • Help prepare materials for trade shows and other events, including logistical support as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support.
  • Ensure documents meet company formatting, grammar, spelling, and alignment standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in document control, graphic support, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in graphic design, document formatting, or production support
  • Familiarity with shared file platforms (SharePoint, Google Drive, or similar)

Working Conditions: Must be able to work independently under minimal supervision and under leadership guidance. Ability to perform physical work, including prolonged sitting and extended computer use. Must be able to lift equipment and materials weighing up to 10 lbs.

Candidate must provide a contract for legals review.

Expenses & Equipment Expenses: Invoices must be submitted to the hiring manager for payment. Within thirty (30) days, the Consultant must provide an expense report along with all applicable receipts. Equipment Provided: RS may provide an RS email address, business cards, and an RS laptop with peripheral hardware at no cost.
