Position Summary:

Responsible for the quality of contract development, IT architecture alignment, processes, and system tools to help the company avoid contract disputes. This includes reviewing the company's contracts before signing, and analyzing all clauses, stipulations, obligations, and liabilities. Lead negotiations for certain customer projects and the results of the quality assurance exceptions identified with the contracts team, business partners, and customers to resolve any discrepancies, improve processes, and/or support training initiatives.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Review and analyze contracts with enterprise-wide IT technology vendors and other documents to ensure deal points match the expectations of all parties.
  • Redline contracts to CCHS standards in a highly technical environment.
  • Work with CCHS Legal Team to analyze contractual clauses and understand terms and conditions to ensure legal sufficiency and accuracy.
  • Work with the CCHS Security Team to mitigate security risks and provide appropriate provisions.
  • Negotiate contractual terms, including Service Level Agreements, with vendors to mitigate risks, optimize support and decrease IT technology spend.
  • Convey through verbal and written communication any discrepancies in the contract deal terms to ensure technology standards and vendor strategy as agreed upon by all parties.
  • Define and manage projects with business partners to ensure document quality, compliance with relevant timelines, and stakeholder alignment, including monitoring and communication of progress.
  • Lead and/or advocate strategic solutions in discussions with internal departments, business partners, and customers.
  • Identify performance gaps, trends, and process enhancements to improve customer interactions, training, procedures, and/or system enhancements.
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain training materials relating to procedural recommendations and specific customer project management.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Five (5) years of experience in contract review and negotiations
  • Contract Management and Document Management Application experience a must

Annual Compensation Range $79,497.60 - $127,212.80This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
