Job description

Are you a results-driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships and driving growth? We are seeking a Business Development Manager to help expand our presence in the Columbus market, supporting clients across Accounting, Finance, Administrative, and Human Resources functions. This is a hybrid opportunity with a collaborative team environment and strong earning potential. The office is located on the north side of Columbus in the Polaris area.
In this role, you will focus on developing new client partnerships while managing and growing existing relationships. You'll work closely with an internal recruiting team to deliver customized talent solutions for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business through proactive outreach, networking, and market research within the Columbus area
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through a consultative, solutions-focused approach
  • Collaborate with recruiting partners to ensure successful candidate placement and client satisfaction
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new partnerships and expand accounts
  • Monitor local market trends, industry activity, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated success in a sales or business development role, ideally within staffing or professional services
  • Experience supporting Accounting, Finance, Administrative, or HR functions is highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter with a competitive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of the Columbus business community is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
