Job Description
American Asset Management company in New York seeks a Japanese / English Translator to support the VP Client Service Department located remotely from Japan in the following tasks:
  • RFP writing in Japanese (mostly translation, creating and maintaining a Japanese - English RFP answers database)
  • Client reporting (quarterly) in English and Japanese (downloading data from internal tools, filling out client format (Excel and Word)
  • Other client service support in Japanese (reviewing 3rd party translations, etc.)

Requirements
  • Excellent business writing skills both in Japanese and English translation between the two languages (Both E to J / J to E).
  • Financial translation in Asset Management field are preferred.
  • 1-2 years of reporting or middle/back office experience at Asset Management company is preferred. Attention to details is critical.
  • # of hours: 100 hours in a Quarter End. (Part Time works)
  • The assignment is part time contract base paid in US dollars (wired monthly)
