Contract Support Assistant (Entry)
Kaizen Approach is currently seeking a Contract Support Assistant (Entry) to provide administrative and acquisition support to Contracting Officers within the Office of the Procurement Executive. In this role, you'll assist with non-decisional, transactional, and documentation tasks that enable the Sponsor's mission-critical acquisition activities. You'll perform data entry, prepare contract files, and maintain organized records in compliance with Sponsor procedures. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented and eager to learn the federal contracts process in a highly secure environment. Working closely with senior staff, you'll gain exposure to procurement operations and contribute to the efficient execution of acquisition workflows.
Requirements:
  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Must have at least two (2) years of work experience using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Must have one (1) year of administrative support experience, including tasks such as correspondence, customer service, scheduling, and filing.
  • Must have one (1) year of experience in contracts, office administration, finance, or program administration.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Active TS/SCI with ISSA clearance required.
