You'll direct the activities of a functional area, managing a team responsible for content optimization strategy across multiple product lines and business areas. You'll navigate highly complex, ambiguous, and fast-moving priorities while developing your team's careers, driving measurable business impact, and influencing senior stakeholders across the organization.","responsibilities":"Lead the creation and ongoing operation of an always-on AI Search optimization program - defining the strategy, workflows, and success metrics
Build and grow a team of Content SEO program managers, coaching for career growth and an inclusive culture
Own the content SEO strategy and long-term roadmap across Apple's marketing site and online store
Partner with senior leaders across Merchandising, Product Marketing, and Marcom to make search a core input to Apple's content
Define and own the content SEO strategy and long-term roadmap across several of Apple's digital platforms, including Apple's marketing site and online store
Lead a team responsible for developing content strategies that optimize Apple's presence across AI platforms and AI-powered search experiences (e.g., AI Overviews, conversational search, answer engines)
Build, hire, mentor, and grow a team of content SEO program managers - setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and fostering an inclusive culture that supports career growth and diverse perspectives
Lead cross-functional collaboration with content, merchandising, product marketing, and Marcom leaders to ensure SEO is integrated into all content efforts and product launches
Establish frameworks, standards, and processes for content optimization that scale globally across metadata, content structure, internal linking, and semantic markup
Manage executive relationships inside Apple and stay current with search engine and AI platform developments
Preferred Qualifications
"13+ years of experience with SEO preferred
Experience working in the technology and/or e-commerce industry
Experience building or scaling a content SEO function at a large, matrixed organization
Track record of building diverse, inclusive teams and developing talent into future leaders"
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience with SEO for a global brand or digital agency
4+ years of experience directly managing SEO, content, or program management teams, including experience developing and calibrating talent
Experience with AIO / GEO / AEO and optimizing content for AI-powered search
Solid experience leading complex, cross-functional content programs across multiple product lines or business areas
In-depth knowledge of the latest content SEO best practices across all significant worldwide search engines
Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Profound, seoClarity, and Ahrefs
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $195,200 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
